Amman, the capital of Jordan, is a fascinating city of contrasts – a unique blend of old and new, ideally situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley. It is the most populated city in Jordan, and has some amazing tourist attractions such as the citadel, the roman theatre, and the king Abdullah mosque. There are also shopping centers, cafes, and 5-star restaurants which can keep tourists busy throughout their trip. When touring Jordan, seldom do people come to Amman; they usually pass by or stay for a day or two before touring Jordan, but rest assured that these two day pit stops are going to be unforgettable!
